IBen receives songs in the form of lyrics that begin coming to him in pieces and he forgets those snippets and allows time for entire works to gather to those concepts then writes the song, usually with no edits to the song. When the song is written, that is the song.
IBen Morton then finds a time signature that allows a musical feel for singing the written song. Morton’s emphasis is on composing musical pieces in a swinging 8 time feel, whether subtle or intensely swinging. Other common time signatures Morton composes in are 6/4 time, 12/8 time and bass lines generally remain in a more common solid4/4 time feel to maintain a pop style back beat.Midi Synth work include building swells and reverb vibes and often syncopated chiming effects, modulated pitch bends and building an ambient soundscape that creates an environment for the music to live within and become a larger composition in the ambient environment or soundscape created for the main elements of the song to live within.IBen Morton is an accomplished percussionist and drummer with over 40 years of drumming experience. Morton’s drumming experience includes playing and working as a drummer for several bands and many musicians since the 1980’s even while being a young boy growing up. Morton’s childhood easily achieved 40,000 hours of honing his drumming styles and techniques. IBen Morton has taught drummers ever since he himself was a young drummer.Morton’s extensive background as a drummer includes many genres and styles. Drumming is IBen Morton’s number one musical passion since being a young child.

Mr Hill’s contributions to IBen Morton Music Label includes sound design, assistance with mixing and mastering, song writing, conceptual contribution and various vocal performances, duets with IBen Morton and backing vocals on numerous songs released in 2025 under IBen Morton Company Music (IMCM). IBen Morton’s most recent musical compositions and includes remastered versions of previously released 2025 song releases. Mr Hill has contributed a number of vocal performances featuring his exceptional talent as a vocalist. Hill is also a Producer for IBen Morton and Co Producer, Director, Principal, Programmer and friend of IBen Morton.
This is a private yet profound collaboration between these creatives that is expected to continue into 2026 and forward.
